The "Is Your Name on the Honor Roll?" poster is an official American homefront artifact created in 1918 to promote the Fourth Liberty Loan campaign during World War I. Printed by the United States Treasury, this interactive propaganda tool directly leveraged community pride and social accountability to fund the war effort. Unlike standard pictorial war posters, this was designed as a public sign-up sheet. The top half features a patriotic banner with bold text. The bottom half consists of blank, numbered lines. Local businesses, banks, factories, or community halls would hang the poster. Citizens would then sign their names publicly once they purchased a Fourth Liberty Loan bond. Features blue text on a white background with narrow red, white, and blue striped borders. It bears a small production code like "26 BBB" in the lower left corner. The Fourth Liberty Loan drive took place from September 28 to October 19, 1918. It raised billions of dollars just weeks before the armistice was signed. This specific poster layout relied heavily on social pressure. Leaving your name off the public "Honor Roll" in a local shop or workplace implied a lack of patriotism.
