Here's a real gem All About Little Black Sambo - First Edition 1917 Though this book doesn't give author credit, it is likely written by Helen Bannerman, the Scottish woman who first created the character of Little Black Sambo in 1899's "The Story of Little Black Sambo." If not, the publisher, Cupples and Leon Company, of New York, apprropriated the story, as they had a series of "All About ..." books of other famous classics, and had John. B. Gruelle illustrate it. Book is in Fair Condition, some damage to front and rear covers (minor), and soiling throughout pages, perhaps, mostly due to age and use.
