Cased Deane & Son Adams' Patent Double Action Revolver with Accessories The left side of the frame is marked "B.3878/ADAMS' PATENT. No 19,314 R." The top strap and top barrel flat are marked "DEANE & SON. No 30 KING WILLIAM STT LONDON BRIDGE." British "crown/V" and "crown/GP" proofs are found on the upper left barrel flat and on the cylinder between the chambers. The cylinder is marked "No. 19,314/R." Engraved floral scrollwork appears on the frame, cylinder, trigger guard, grip straps and buttcap. Blue finished barrel and frame, casehardened cylinder, niter blue and casehardened loading lever, niter blue safety and trigger and left in the white spur hammer. Fitted with a checkered one-piece grip with shield inlay and clam shell engraved compartment. The partitioned case is lined in green felt and has a Deane & Son paper label on the inside of the lid. The accessories include a two cavity brass bullet mold, bullets, oiler, ramrod, extra percussion nipples, powder flask, nipple wrench, screwdriver, wad cutter and Eley's percussion cap bag with caps. The revolver retains 90% plus bright original high polished blue finish showing some thinning to a brown. The loading lever retains 80% of the original niter blue and 85% of the original case colors. The cylinder retains 90% original case colors. The safety and trigger retain 85% original niter blue finish. The grip is also excellent with overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with a minor crack on the bottom, minor handling/storage marks and high spot wear on the lining.
