A pair of Neopolitan Mandolins attributed to Antonio Vinaccia circa 1764,labelled in one only, Antonio Vinaccia, filius Januarii fecit Neapoli alla Strada della Rua Catalana, A.D. 1764, width 177 and 160mm the neck and head of tortoiseshell with elaborate mother of pearl and ivory inlay decoration. The apron with mother of pearl and tortoiseshell inlay, the pear shaped back of a brown colour with raised foliate carving, together with another plainly decorated of a light golden amber colour with mother of pearl and ebony inlay, both with use and wear, in double fitted case - Stock Ref:156-29
