A professional, fascinating book which received the enthusiastic agreements of the great rabbis: The Ridbaz, Rabbi Yitzchak Yeruchem Diskin and Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Ha'Cohen Kook. The three praise the fact that a religious Jew is the author of a book dealing with the borders of the Land. The book contains a folded, colorful map of the borders of the Land of Israel.
Rabbi Yitzchak Goldher (1847-1925) worked as a surveyor for Baron Rothschild and a researcher for the PIKA Company. He was known as a man of charity and an expert botanist. Amazing stories were told of him.
A first edition of this book, with a map, is rare.

2. Ve'Ze Gvul Ha'Aretz (And this is the Border of the Land), C. Bar Daroma, 1958, with the author's dedication.
A book specifying the borders of the Promised Land, according to the Bible and the Sages, with maps. B.A.R. Publication for Bible and the Land of Israel Studies, Jerusalem.
At the end of the book there are pictures of landscapes of the Land of Israel according to the borders of the Bible, including pictures from Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq.
The title page includes a picture of Baron Rothschild - "The Father of settlements and State".
The book opens with a dedication of the author: "To Mr. Eviezer Petinkin, a Jewish man, a Torah supporter and dedicated activist from Chicago. With greetings and respect, H. Bar Droma". Petinkin is praised also in the author's introduction to the book.
Dr. Chaim Ze'ev Bar Daroma (1892-1970) studied in Mir and Slobodka Yeshivas, immigrated to Israel in 1911, was a teacher and researcher and a member of the Committee for Geographic Terms beside the National Committee of Israel in Jerusalem. He published poems, articles and studies in Geography in various newspapers and journals.
