c. 1890-1911, British
British sterling silver large serving spoons lot of 3 includes:
(1) John Henry Potter & Co. sterling silver with gold wash large serving spoon with amber, c. 1890-1900,The lower grip is heavily decorated with realistic, three dimensional cast oak leaves, the very end of the spoon features a smooth, polished and translucent amber ball nested inside the sterling acorn mounting.

(1) David Shaw & Co. sterling silver serving spoon c. 1911, The handle features a three dimensional representation of the Caduceus, which is widely adopted as a symbol of medicine. Weight 68g.
(1) William Gallimore & Sons, A classic Apostle sterling silver serving spoon , c. 1911, The spoon terminates in a three dimensional figure standing atop a tiered pedestal. Weight : 64g.
All spoons marked with British sterling silver hallmarks.

Items to be picked up by the buyer or agent for the buyer must be picked up within 10 calendar days following the auction.

Pick-up hours are M-F 10:30am to 4:30pm (EST). Items not picked up within 10 days will be placed in storage at a fee of $10.00 per item per day. All international customs, duties, and other tariffs are the responsibility of the buyer. Akiba Galleries and all third party shippers will declare the selling price as the value in all cases. In the event a purchased item cannot be delivered in the same condition as of the time of sale due to damage, theft, loss or mis-delivery Akiba Galleries Jr. LLC shall not be liable for any amount in excess of that paid by the buyer.
