A vintage 1983 Colorado commemorative belt buckle by Indiana Metal Craft, featuring an exceptionally detailed high-relief depiction of a majestic bull elk standing before a dense pine forest with the Rocky Mountains rising in the distance. Dominating the upper register is the boldly cast "COLORADO" inscription, framed by an ornate scrolling border that enhances the dramatic Western presentation. Executed in a substantial pewter-tone cast metal, the buckle exemplifies the quality craftsmanship for which Indiana Metal Craft became well known during the late twentieth century. The reverse bears the maker's mark "Indiana Metal Craft" and copyright date "1983," along with the model number "0349," confirming its period manufacture.
