NSN. Cal 22. All blue finish with 11-3/4" tapered, matted ribbed bbl, shielded ramp pin front sight and fully adjustable v-notch rear sight. Left side of bbl, just above the frame is marked "ARMINIUS-WAFFEN-WERK ZELLA-MEHLIS (THURG". Frame has adjustable trigger with cocking lever on left side. Mounted with checkered 2-pc thumbrest walnut grips matching numbered to the pistol. Serial number was observed on bottom of bbl lug, left side of buttstrap under the grip and inside left grip. Right grip has a double brass escutcheon with only one on the left side. Few of these fine European target pistols made their way to the United States and therefore are rarely found here. PROVENANCE: The Esteemed Collection Of Noted Expert And Author Warren Buxton. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Overall retains 95-97% strong orig blue with light sharp edge wear and some thinning on bottom of bbl in front of frame and on the front & backstraps. Left grip has a couple small cracks by the backstrap otherwise grips are sound showing light to moderate wear and retain most of their orig oil finish.
