Vallots.com is part of Vallot Auctioneers, which was founded in 2003 as a fine art specialty auction house in Tribeca. Vallot’s was one of the first specialized fine art auction houses in Manhattan.

Vallot’s has sold works both at public auction and in private sales of important collections and noted works of art, setting numerous artist records.

Vallot’s was one of the first auction houses to broadcast live online auctions. Early auctions with live internet bidding were held at the Salmagundi Art Club in New York where Vallot’s also auctioned several works from the club’s private collection.

Vallot’s focus has always been on bringing fresh quality lots to the market and being an accessible and an easy forum for consignors and bidders.

We are still real people with real expertise, not just a computer program or platform. We are are in possession of every lot we sell because we don’t believe you can do an honest job as an auctioneer without inspecting and examining each lot.

Vallot’s continues to use the most current technologies to conduct auctions and private sales. We have innovated the concept of Virtual Previews©. Virtual Previews mean bidders don’t have to waste time getting to an auction preview and our bidders don’t have to rely on a couple of images with the best possible angles when bidding. During our Virtual Previews we give every potential bidder the chance to see each lot using their preferred technology, front, back up-close…the bidder decides.

We offer our bidders the choice of payment through all major credit cards, check and when approved by our consignors, bidders can pay with BitCoin.

We moved our principal place of business to historic Newport Rhode Island. As we continue to grow and expand, we will continue to introduce new innovative ways to to conduct our auctions and we always welcome your feedback.
