Michael is a 1997 graduate of the Reading Area Community College auctioneer certification program. He received his PA Auctioneer license in the spring of 1998. Early in his career he worked for an auction house located in Franklin Co. Pa. In 1998, he founded his own auction company located in New Holland, Pa. Michael was twice named the PAA Reserve Champion bid-caller in 2005 & 2012.

John is a PAA State Champion bid caller (1998), with an entire lifetime of experience in the "Auction Method of Marketing". Growing up, his parents had a weekly antique & furniture auction, so John has been helping with auctions his entire life. He started auctioneering at age 17, and now at 51, has been selling and saying SOLD for 34 years. John brings a level of auctioneering experience to the team that few professionals in our country can match.

In January 2006 Mike & John teamed together and formed a partnership known as Martin & Rutt Auctioneers.
