Deba Gray began her career in 1989 at Wolf's Auction Gallery in Cleveland, Ohio. She quickly worked her way up from gallery assistant to Licensed Auctioneer and Gallery Manager while honing her skills as a generalist. In 1995 she went to work with Leslie Hindman Auctioneers in Chicago as an Auctioneer & Director of Marketplace Sales; and then for Sotheby's, while continuing on as Auctioneer, Deba was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Property.
After 16 years as a licensed auctioneer Deba Gray returned to Cleveland, Ohio in 2006 to found Gray's Auctioneers LLC a full service Cleveland auction company, designed to meet the various requirements of all our clients, including free pick-up of consignments, and a delivery service for all our buyers.
As a licensed auctioneer in both Ohio and Florida, Deba Gray's experience makes Gray's Auctioneers LLC uniquely placed to provide outstanding service to our consignors and buyers. Our objective is to achieve the highest possible prices at auction while making the process of buying and selling at auction enjoyable, easy and rewarding.
One of our other objectives in the 21st Century and the Age of Global Warming is to make the public aware of the 'Recycling' benefits of buying and selling at Auction. It's cool to re-use. Gray's Auctioneers LLC is committed to utilizing as many green technologies throughout its operations as possible.
The Auction House is located close to downtown at 10717 Detroit Avenue in Cleveland's West Side/Clifton district, equally accessible from the West, South and East suburbs via the Shoreway (SR2) or I-90.
