For 10 years, Nancy had her own dollhouse shop, and for 20 years was the Sales Manager of Hobby Builder Supply. She is the author of "Everything You Wanted To Know About Dollhouses But Didn't Know Who To Ask". Nancy is now enjoying a well-deserved retirement in Pennsylvania.
We are honored to have the opportunity to auction this collection, which contains many beautiful pieces from Roger Gutheil, Tony Jones, Michael Reynolds, Jason Getzan, Natasha Beshenkovsky, Warren Dick, Mary McGrath, David Krupick, and some by Nancy herself. There are a wealth of room boxes, fine miniatures and accessories from the past 40 years that Nancy has been collecting.
Karen and Andrew Aird run Karen's Dollhouse Shop, which is in its 30th year of operations. Karen first attended Dollhouse Shows up and down the East Coast of the USA as a child, helping her grandmother Marion Jantz who was a self-taught miniature glass blower. In 1990, Karen started her first business "Jantz's Glass & More", which became "Karen Aird Miniatures" when she married her husband Andrew in 1998. Karen and Andrew are well-known faces at Dollhouse Shows all over the USA.
Karen has a wealth of experience in the business. She has had dollhouse stores in New Jersey since 2001, first in Summit, and most recently in Whitehouse Station in New Jersey, where they are located in a beautiful 19th century historical colonial house, which has been converted into a 3,500 square foot shop.
Karen and Andrew have been hosting Dollhouse Miniatures Auctions since 2019
