Our founder, Alex Cooper, entered the auction business in 1924 as a young man and spent a lifetime accumulating the skills, insight, and knowledge, thus establishing a tradition that we continue to cherish. Today, Alex Cooper Auctioneers is owned by Alex's son, Joseph, and is maintained by two succeeding generations of the Cooper family and an experienced and dedicated staff of over fifty employees. Our 35,000 square foot beautifully appointed, state-of-the-art auction gallery is conveniently located in Towson, Maryland, near the York Road exit of I-695.
