Grogan & Company, New England's premier auction house, was established in 1987 by Michael B. Grogan and has held approximately 150 auctions featuring fine art, jewelry, silver, decorative arts, and oriental rugs. Their individualized approach is tailored to meet the needs of New England families who are settling estates or downsizing residences.
Grogan & Company founder Michael B. Grogan is a regular appraiser on Antiques Roadshow, and is a former vice president of Sotheby's. He has more than 40 years of experience in art and auctions. Located in Boston's historic Beacon Hill, Grogan & Company currently holds four major auctions annually, each featuring approximately 300 lots of property across all collecting genres that attract bidders from around the world. Recent fine art highlights include Jan van Goyen’s The Cundera Tower, Rhenen, which sold for $90,000, Norman Rockwell's The Fireman, which sold for $216,000, and Josef Albers’ Homage to the Square, “Late Sound”, which sold for $236,000.
