Bobby (bouncer) Yates and Betty (Renee) Yates built there life together for 56 years. Both were born in Caldwell County, they resided in the Granite Falls area for nearly 10 years before moving to Conover, NC. Betty entered the workforce at a young age , laboring in local factories before her career ended as an employee of Volex Inc. Bobby spent his early years working at a local cafe and bouncing in the evenings. He served his country Proudly as a MP in the United States Army before attending and graduating from Barber School. In 1972 He opened Peoples Barbershop of Conover NC. He retired as a barber in the early 2000's and spent his time buying, selling, and trading his favorite items. He loved firearms, coins, antiques, oddities and anything worth collecting.

We will be doing several sales for the Yates Family

Sale # 1 will consist of 100+ Firearms accumulated by the couple through there lifetime. Bobby had a passion for .22 Rifles and Pistols. They managed to collect a wide variety of .22 Long Guns and Handguns. Sale will Include early Winchesters, Remington, Savage, Over/unders, Double Barrels, Colt pistols, Rugers, Target handguns, and so much more.
