These vehicles and equipment have been utilized in the city's public works, fleet, and emergency service operations, offering a diverse selection of trucks, heavy equipment, and vehicles through this online only auction.

Auction Details

Bidding Opens: August 3, 2026
Bidding Closes: August 12, 2026 – 1 lot closes every 2 minutes beginning at 11:00 AM

Preview / Inspection: August 10 from 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pickup Schedule: August 13, and August 17–19, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Please note there will be no pickup on August 14.

Inventory Location: 5550 Wilkinson Blvd., Charlotte, NC

Admin Fee: 5%
Sales Tax: 7.25% on non-titled assets
Payment Methods: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
(3% processing fee and additional authorization applies to credit card payments.)

Buyers are responsible for conducting their own inspections prior to bidding. All items are sold as-is. Participation in the auction signifies acceptance of the items’ condition.

 

Payment

Payment Deadline: August 14 at 2:00 PM. Payment by wire transfer or credit card.
Credit card payments now require an authorization form on file. This must be completed by the registered bidder before the transaction can be finalized.

Admin Fee: 5% admin fee is added to the final hammer price of each lot.

Credit Card Fee: 3% processing fee is applied to credit card payments.

Sales Tax: 7.25% sales tax applies to non-titled assets. If you are tax-exempt, we must have your valid tax exemption certificate on file. 

 

Removal Requirements

Removal Location: 5550 Wilkinson Blvd., Charlotte, NC

Removal Schedule:
Thursday, August 13: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Friday, August 14: Lot Closed - NO PICKUP
Monday, August 17: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Tuesday, August 18: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Wednesday, August 19: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Vehicles not picked up by August 19 will be towed.

Buyers are responsible for all loading, equipment, and transportation. Full payment must be collected before removal. Items must be removed during the designated pickup window. No storage is available beyond the scheduled dates.
