Important Collector & Safety Notes of Surplus Ammo from the +/- 1950’s Era: 

Surplus Loose Ammo from this era is highly corrosive. A large amount of the loose ammo (8mm) has markings that indicate a “Persian crown” at the 12:00 position indicating Iranian military surplus. Other loose ammunition with red or purple rings around the primer (where it meets the brass or steel casing) could indicate Russian or Eastern Bloc military surplus. Additional 7.62cal. headstamp 60/85 Soviet military & 5.45cal. headstamp 60/79 Soviet military surplus selling is highly corrosive.

 

Corrosive Primers: Ammunitiion is universally Berdan-primed and highly corrosive. If you choose to shoot this ammunition, you must clean the rifle’s bore immediately.

 

Hang fires/Duds: You may experience inconsistent ignition and hang fires with surplus from this era.

 

Collectible Status: This ammo is generally valued as collector’s item versus practical range use. Due to its age the ammunition is unreliable.

Absence of Warranties & Disclaimers: All information contained herein, and all related materials, are subject to the Terms and Conditions outlined in the Purchase Agreement. The property is being sold on AS IS, WHERE IS basis, no warranty or representation either expressed or implied concerning the property is made by the seller or the auction company. Each potential bidder is responsible for conducting his or her own inspections, verifications, investigations, inquiries, and due diligence concerning the property. The information contained herein is subject to verification by all parties relying on it. There is no liability for its accuracy. Conduct of the auction and increments of bidding are at the discretion of the auctioneer. Payment Terms:

 

All firearm buyers will be required to adhere to all Federal Firearm Laws (FFL) in conjunction with a KY licensed Federal Firearms Dealer working in conjunction with this sale. All successful firearm purchasers will be given the name & the address of the FFL Dealer in Paducah, KY to make arrangements for pickup. Out-of-state buyers will be required to have any and all firearms shipped to an FFL Dealer. Proof of purchase required/invoice. FFL Dealer will charge a $25.00 processing fee per firearm.  Additional fees may apply if shipped.

 

Buyers will pre-arrange financing necessary to make desired purchase(s) prior to registration.

 

 

Auction Terms: 

This is a timed online-only absolute auction. By registering for this auction and bidding you agree to all the terms and conditions listed above & below.

 

1.   All merchandise is sold lien-free

 

2.   Bidding Extensions: If a bid is placed within the final minutes, bidding may be extended to ensure fairness.

 

3.   All tax exemptions must be sent to the office prior to invoices being paid. No refunds will be given for sales-tax exemptions once payments are processed. Please inform us if you are tax exempt. Resale certificates must be on file with the auction company in advance of sale day. Ky. sales tax is 6%. 

 

4.   Occasionally an item must be removed from the auction due to circumstances beyond our control. If there is an item that you are interested in, please call ahead of time to ensure that it is still registered in the auction.

 

5.   Currency Accepted: Credit or debit cards & wire transfers. Payment is due upon the closing of the auction on ALL ONLINE BIDS.

7.   Invoice/paid receipt notifications may be automatically blocked or put into a deleted/junk/spam folder. It is the bidder's responsibility to contact us regarding their invoice if it is not received within a 24-hour period.

 

8.   The online listing catalog is to be used as a guide and guide only, its accuracy cannot in any way be guaranteed or warranted. No sale shall be invalidated or void, nor shall auctioneer be liable for any inaccuracies in the catalog and each bidder assures that all lots were available prior to the offering for pre-inspection prior to bidding.

 

9.   When the bidder bids on an item and is accepted it is a LEGALLY-BINDING AGREEMENT, and as such is not removable.

 

10. Auctioneer shall not, for any reason be responsible for loss, theft, or damage of any kind to any items purchased.

 

11. The amount owed to the auction company will be carefully and accurately represented and shown on a company generated invoice, no 3^rd party invoice or receipt communications shall be considered binding nor accepted as amount owed. Invoice/s will be sent to purchaser/s disclosing the total purchase price.

 

12. If payment by credit card is not collected once the invoice is processed and emailed to the purchaser upon the close of the auction, purchaser may be assessed late penalties and/or including being reported to HIBID for nonpayment and you will be blocked from any further bidding.

 

13. All items are subject to being pulled from the auction up to and including day of the auction for any reason that auction company deems fit, without prior notification.

 

14. Pickup: All successful firearm purchasers will be given the name and  address of the FFL Dealer in Paducah, KY to make arrangements for pickup after 12 pm on Tuesday, August 4^th or on Friday, August 7^th. Paid Invoices will be emailed to purchasers. Out-of-state buyers will be required to have any and all firearms shipped to an FFL Dealer. Proof of purchase required/invoice. FFL Dealer will charge a $25.00 processing fee per firearm.  Additional fees may apply if shipped. Winning bidders of ammunition and other accessories are expected to pick up their items on Saturday, August 8^th between the hours of 12 PM - 5 PM  at a designated location in Paducah, KY. All winning bidders will be notified of pickup location and if pickup date must be changed. Any items not picked up within the window described and/or prior arrangements have not been made and acknowledged by the auction company or the FFL Dealer in writing, will incur storage and handling fees and will be sold ABSOLUTE in our next auction at the new owner's expense. All fees and charges including storage and commissions will be deducted from the sale price and the balance will be sent to them in the form of a company check mailed to their address on file.

 

15. Warranty: Online inventory and any auction-day catalogs are guides only, auction company is not responsible for incorrect information online or in catalogs. The auction company uses the most up-to-date resources to collect any and all info for specifics.
