H.O. Scale Extravaganza-Trucks, Buildings & Trains

This online only HiBid Auction is the first of a series of auctions from a condo clean-out of a late truck driver and avid toy collector.  The majority of the items in this auction are new in the box, and include H.O. scale buildings, H.O. 1/87 Scale Semis, H.O. Scale train engines, train cars and more.  Brands include Walthers, Athearn, Model Power, Norscot, Imex, Atlas, Bachmann, Brekina, Con-Cor, and others.

Auction Details:

Bidding opens: Wednesday, June 24 at 3:00 PM

Auction begins closing: Sunday June 28 at 7:00 PM

Pickup Information:

Location:  201 E. Locust St. Wilmington, Ohio 45177

                 Use parking area at back entrance, accessible through the alley from Locust or

                 Columbus Street 

Primary pickup:  Tuesday June 30 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Alternate pickup: Wednesday July 1 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 

 AUCTION TERMS & CONDITIONS

Auction Firm: Palmer Auction Services

Pickup Location: Alma’s Attic, 201 E. Locust Street, Wilmington, OH 45177

                     Please use the rear parking area, which has a ramp 

                     for easier accessibility--it is accessed via the alley off Locust or Columbus Street

Pickup Dates & Times: Primary Pickup  Tuesday June 30 10AM-5PM

                                     Alternate Pickup   Wednesday July 1 10AM-5PM

           **Buyers are responsible for bringing appropriate tools, packing materials, and labor for 

              removal. Palmer Auction Services/Alma's Attic does not provide moving assistance.**

            **If pickup arrangements are not made with Palmer Auction Services prior to the close of 

               the pickup window, any items not picked up will be considered abandoned and will 

               become the property of Palmer Auction Services. No refunds will be issued.**

Buyer’s Premium - A 15% Buyer’s Premium will be added to the final hammer price of all items.

Sales Tax -  A 7.25% Ohio sales tax will be applied to all in-state and pick-up purchases unless  

                   a valid Ohio Sales Tax Exemption Certificate is received and approved by Palmer 

                   Auction Services prior to the beginning of the auction.

                   Tax exemption requests submitted after bidding has begun or after the auction has 

                   closed may not be honored.

                    It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure tax-exempt status is approved in advance

Payment Terms - Payment is due online within 24 hours of auction close, or by cash at pickup, 

                            unless otherwise stated.  Those who wish to pay with cash at pickup must 

                            notify auction firm of this intent within 24 hours of auction close. 

                            Invoices not paid or not communicated as “cash at pickup” within this 24-hour 

                            period may be automatically charged to the card on file.

                                              

Accepted payment methods:  Online payment prior to pickup (via HiBid-approved payment 

                           methods) or Cash at pickup

                    **Items will not be released until payment has been received and cleared.**

Shipping:  Shipping is available on specified lots only. Please review individual lot descriptions 

                 to confirm eligibility.

                Shipping methods: USPS Ground Advantage, USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Ground

                Buyers will be invoiced the actual shipping cost plus a $1 handling fee per lot

                Shipping invoices will be sent after items are packed

                **Please allow up to 10 business days after the auction invoice is paid for items to be 

                packed and for the shipping invoice to be issued.**

                 Palmer Auction Services is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage once items 

                 have been transferred to the shipping carrier.

Item Descriptions & Condition: Every effort has been made to accurately describe all items and 

                disclose any known damage or defects. However, all items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS

                with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied.

               **All sales are final. No refunds, returns, or exchanges.**

               Bidders are encouraged to ask questions or inspect items prior to bidding.

Non-Payment, Failed Payment & Chargebacks:  Failure to remit payment within the stated 

               payment period constitutes default.

               In the event of:

                     -Non-payment

                     -Failed or declined payment

                     -Credit card chargeback or payment reversal

              Palmer Auction Services reserves the right to:

                     -Cancel the sale

                     -Retain the item(s)

                     -Resell the item(s) without notice

                     -Ban the bidder from future auctions

                     -Report the bidder to HiBid

                     -Pursue collection of all amounts due, including buyer’s premium,     

                      administrative fees, resale losses, and associated costs

                    *Chargebacks are considered a breach of these auction terms. Bidders agree to 

                     resolve payment disputes directly with Palmer Auction Services prior to initiating a 

                     chargeback.

Bidding & Ownership Disclosure:  Palmer Auction Services will not place bids on items owned 

                   by Palmer Auction Services or its sister company, Alma's Attic. Palmer Auction

                   Services reserves the right to place bids on consigned items, as permitted by Ohio  

                   law and HiBid policies.
