THE POP CULTURE AUCTION

THIS A LIVE, IN - HOUSE AND ONLINE AUCTION 

  This auction has expanded to include not just Music and Movie memorabilia but we now have sports memorabilia!  Many older Yankees and NY Giants photos, authenticated and signed.  A 1975 Sears poster "How to Build a Winner" signed and inscribed by 1932 and 1936 Olympic sprinter and athlete, Jesse Owens.

Beyond the addition of Sports memorabilia there are also many other pieces to note.  An April 2002 House of Blues signed guitar which includes autographs by Herbie Hancock and India Arie along with others.  This major benefit project and live concert series was called Music For The Heart and was organized to raise funds for congenital heart defects.

We also have two large framed awards from A & M Records to Billy Francis, the manager of Sting for his album The Summoners Tales.  Over 1 million vinyl records and 6 million cassettes and cd's sold!

Unusual pieces: 

An autographed Ron Turcotte (jockey) photo riding the greatest horse of all time, "Secretariat" during the 1973 Triple Crown.  Astronaut John Glenn, NASA photo, signed.  A signed The Lone Ranger and Tonto photo signed by Clayton Moore. A Planet Hollywood watch signed by Arnold Schwarzenegger. A 1954 Marilyn Monroe calendar.

Alberto Vargas 1981 signed pinup girls. A Queen Victoria cut signature with JSA authentication with letter of provenance. A photo print of the controversial cult horror film, Freaks, released in 1932 featuring real-life sideshow performers. Andy Warhol photo prints taken with Edie Sedgwick.

An Eli Manning signed 2008 Super Bowl XLII poster

The Odell Beckham Catch against the Dallas Cowboys, signed

The Big Red Machine, 1970's Cincinnati Reds, signed by Johnny Bench, Tony Perez, Pete Rose and five others.

Philadelphia Eagles, Chuck Bednarik signed photo

2007 Red Sox, Manny Ramirez signed poster

A New York Giants, Brandon Jacobs signed poster

Two NY Yankees, Derek Jeter signed photos

A NY Yankees Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera signed photo

Plus our usual great variety of Wembley Stadium music programs and Rock and Roll shows, Japanese DVD's, tour programs, signed sheet music, signed CD's, awards.  Many pieces from Sony/Epic Records in Sendai, Japan, The Beatles 1964 puzzle, Chris Allen signed artwork of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Madonna signed stationary from The Hard Rock Hotel, A 1981 Disney animation print of Mickey Mouse from the Whitney Museum of Art, (2) First printing, Woodstock, the 1970 Warner Brothers movie brochure.

We have hundreds of music and movie related signed pieces!!! 

Disclaimer: 

We ask that you please do your due diligence when examining these lots prior to bidding.  Please ask questions.  Some are authenticated.  Others are from a noted UK collector that passed away a couple of years ago. Her son is the consignor and executor of her estate.  She bought at auction, got many pieces from Wembley Stadium and received huge shipments from Sony / Epic Records in Sendai, Japan Records.
