Proceeds from the auctions of the Itter Collection support the William and Diane Itter Museum of Art Conservation and Research Endowment (through the Eskenazi Museum of Art). This fund supports the care, research, and preservation of artworks at the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art. The museum director will use the funds to support conservators, curators, research, and equipment that help protect and deepen understanding of the collection. Positions supported by the fund may be named in honor of William and Diane Itter, recognizing their lasting commitment to the arts.
The public can donate directly to a separate fund for the IU School of Fine Arts through the William and Diane Itter Fellowship in Studio Art which provides for four fellowships per year to first-year graduate students int he MFA Studio Art program and two awards for MFA students for excellence in teaching.
