This auction brings together more than 500 lots of antiques, silver, decorative furnishings, books, artwork, Alaska material, estate collectibles, and unusual discoveries from private collections and estates throughout Alaska.

The catalog includes a notable selection of sterling and coin silver, including Wallace sterling flatware, B.L. Stone Medallion pattern spoons, sterling jewelry, serving pieces, letter openers, and additional estate silver. Furniture and decorative arts are also well represented, with quarter-sawn oak tables, antique bookcases, roll-top desks, Mission-style display cabinets, library furniture, vanities, rocking chairs, art glass, stained glass, rugs, lighting, mirrors, and other fine furnishings.

Collectors of Alaska Native, Arctic, and ethnographic material will find a varied group of carvings, masks, scrimshaw, whale bone, baleen, walrus ivory, soapstone, and related works, including a King Island spirit wheel by Eugene Tiulana, whale bone and fur mask, carved dancer figure, soapstone sculptures, and other handmade pieces. The sale also includes a late 19th to early 20th-century Kenyan hippopotamus tusk ivory arm ring, fossil specimens, taxidermy, nautical objects, Masonic regalia, and other unusual curiosities.

The art selection includes works and prints by Salvador Dalí, LeRoy Neiman, Claire Fejes, Fred Machetanz, Pat Minock, Barbara Lavallee, Nathalie Parenteau, AnnMarie Young, Steve Hillyer, Bill Rane, Earl Larson, and other Alaska and regional artists. Additional highlights include vintage pedal cars, model aircraft, Harley-Davidson memorabilia, Iditarod and Fur Rendezvous collectibles, cameras, vintage electronics, kitchenware, Franciscan Desert Rose china, and a wide range of estate collectibles.

Book buyers will find a substantial collection of vintage and antique books, highlighted by a Jack London grouping, as well as Alaska, exploration, history, literature, and collectible reference titles.

AUCTION CLOSING: 
This auction opened for bidding on June 16th and will begin to close at 6:00 pm AKDT on Tuesday, June 23rd. It features a soft close of 3 lots per minute. If a bid is placed in the final minute, that lot will be extended an additional 60 seconds until no other bids are placed and the lot is sold.
