1 - 260 B&W Photos: Dodge Library Construction 1950’s Series of 260 black & white industrial photographs documenting the construction of Northeastern University's Dodge Library, one of the largest university libraries at the time. Taken by J. Sullivan Contractors from 1950 to 1952, this lot includes images ranging in size from 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches to 7 x 4 1/2 inches. Each photograph is dated and shows project progress. Some negatives are included. All items are in very good condition with some of the negatives being stuck together from age.

17 - 43 Color Abstract Photographs by Yanchenok 43 photographs titled as color abstract studies by George Yanchenok. George attended film school and by what I found he eked out a living shooting headshots for wannabe actors and did some press fashion work. He lived in a small apartment on the outskirts of LA, From the late 1970's until the 1990's when he moved to Arizona These photos are darkroom produced abstract color studies George was learning to print in color and took several color developing workshops which led him to experimentation. All this lead to this interesting 8 x 10 group of self printed photos.

25a - Konstantin Bokov Mixed Medium Artwork, 2007 This mixed medium artwork by Konstantin Bokov, created in 2007 and signed with the location NYC, exemplifies his hallmark use of found objects combined with painted elements. Measuring 22 x 13 x 1 inches and featuring integrated hanging hardware, the piece incorporates a black perforated plastic panel as its backdrop, with a painted cat motif and an attached metal key. Bokov, born in 1940 in Shosta, Ukraine, is a Ukrainian-born American artist renowned for his assemblages, sculptures, and paintings, often utilizing found materials. The son of poet Viktor Bokov, Konstantin initially studied music but was inspired by Van Gogh to pursue painting. After immigrating to the United States in 1975, he gained recognition for his public installations and gallery exhibitions, including solo shows at Van Der Plas Gallery and participation in the Outsider Art Fair. Bokov's work has shared spaces with Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat and is the subject of the 2012 documentary "Free."

35a - Konstantin Bokov 1987 Oil on Board, 'VICTOR ( Titled "VICTOR (Artist's Father)," this 1987 oil on illustration board by Konstantin Bokov presents an intimate portrait of the artist's own father. It is signed and dated on the lower left, and is protected by a plastic covering. The piece comes with significant provenance, having been previously owned by Jack Miller, Bokov's dealer. Bokov, born in 1940 in Shostka, Ukraine, is a Ukrainian-born American artist known for creating mixed media assemblages, sculptures, and paintings—often from found materials and objects. He is the son of poet and songwriter Viktor Bokov (1914-2009). Bokov studied music at the Art Academy of Leningrad but was inspired to paint by Vincent van Gogh. Immigrating to the United States in 1975, Bokov is represented by Van Der Plas gallery in New York City, exhibits at Outsider Art Fairs in Vienna and New York, and has shown work alongside Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat. He was the subject of the 2012 documentary "Free."

The MD-4 requires batteries to operate its power supply and shutter release functions, and without batteries, these features will not function. The MD-4 provides both "Single" (S) and "Continuous" (C) operation modes. In single mode, the film advances one frame after each exposure. In continuous mode, film advances at 4 frames per second when using penlight batteries, or at 6 frames per second with the optional MN-2 Ni-Cd Battery Unit. Unlike the MD-12, which is for FM/FE/FA cameras and offers automatic film rewind, the MD-4 does not include this function. Battery compartment is clean.

The Gossen Sixtomat selenium from 1955 is the first version, featuring a chrome and black roll cover. All meters are as described with original accessories where noted.

110 - 33 B&W Fashion & Film Star Photos George Yanchenok 33 original black and white fashion and film star photographs, each captured on analog film during the 1980s-90s by photographer George Yanchenok. George, based in a small Los Angeles apartment, worked with fashion companies as well as aspiring actresses and actors, and photographed weddings to sustain his career. As digital photography took hold in the late 1990s, demand for black and white prints faded, and George, lacking A-list clients, shifted to studying color film. Ultimately, unable to compete with digital trends, he moved to Arizona. George Yanchenok remains recognized for photographing beautiful people.

111 - 15 Color Photos by George Yanchenok, 1980s-90 15 original color photographs, each averaging 8x10 inches, taken by photographer George Yanchenok. These 1980s–90s analog (film) prints reflect Yanchenok's work during his time living in a tiny apartment in Los Angeles, where he worked for fashion companies and captured hopeful actresses and actors. He also supplemented his income photographing weddings. As the photography world shifted to digital in the late 1990s, Yanchenok, known for his expertise in color film photography, found it challenging to compete, especially without 'A' list clients and the move away from B&W images. Yanchenok eventually relocated to Arizona, and he remains recognized for photographing beautiful people.

112 - 23 George Yanchenok B&W Photos & Film Tests 23 original black and white photographs and film test sheets, all analog prints created by George Yanchenok, a noted photographer. George Yanchenok worked briefly for Producers Photo Labs in Santa Monica, and these prints come in the original envelope from that lab. During his time in Los Angeles, George lived in a small apartment, working for fashion companies as well as aspiring actresses and actors, and occasionally shooting weddings to make ends meet. By the late 1990s, as digital photography rose in popularity, George, without high-profile clients and with industry trends moving away from black and white, studied color film photography but ultimately found he couldn't compete with digital. He eventually relocated to Arizona. Despite the changing landscape, he remained known for photographing beautiful people.
