This auction from a single owner collection in Pennsylvania features many signs with an emphasis on soda and bread. Brands include Sunbeam, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Hershey and Bireley.

1 - 1996 Coca-Cola Limited Edition Print "All Aboard" Artist signed in pencil and numbered 646/1500. Framed with double mat and engraved plaque "Coca-Cola Enterprises 25 Years Service". 27 1/2"H x 31 1/2"W with frame Condition: Good overall. Separation of frame on back left side.

2 - Vintage 1977 Limited Edition Coca-Cola Ad Mirror Produced in a limited quantity of 1,000 in 1977 this mirror features photos of the originator of the formula in 1886 and the founder of the company in 1892 flanking a photo of a porcelain syrup dispenser. In the original frame. 26"H x 36"W Condition: Light wear to silvering in mirror and to frame.

3 - 1910 Coca-Cola Duster Girl Numbered Print Limited edition print initialed and numbered 38/50 on Coca-Cola watermarked cardstock. Attractively framed. 35 1/2"H x 23 1/2"W with frame Condition: Very good.

4 - 1947 Coca-Cola "Take Some Home Today" Paper Ads 2 different 6-pack window signs nicely framed. Ads feature the Sprite Boy and are marked in the lower left with the 1947 date and in the lower right with "Snyder & Black Inc N.Y. Litho". 28"H x 32"W with frame Condition: Very good.

5 - 1947 Coca-Cola Cardboard 6-Pack Signs 2 different framed cardboard 6-pack signs featuring the Sprite Boy. Strong colors and graphics. Dated 1947 in lower left corner. Professionally framed. 21"H x 28 1/2"W with frame Condition: Very good. Some bumps to corners and minor edge wear.

6 - 1955 Sprite Boy Coca-Cola Paper Poster Crudely matted and framed under plexiglass. Vibrant colors. 27"H x 39"W with frame Condition: Creasing and surface wear to litho.

14 - Large 1953 Cardboard Coca-Cola Advertising Sign Framed sign dated in lower left with makers name in lower right, "Snyder & Black Inc N.Y. Litho". 48 1/4"H x 24 1/4"W Condition: Very good.

15 - Unusual Double-Sided 1940s Coca-Cola Sign Late 1940s double-sided cardboard sign in the original frame. Sign marked "Lithographed in Canada" and "Coca Cola Ltd". Frame marked "Property of Coca Cola Bottling Co" and "Manufactured by Greer Industries Inc Fayetteville GA" with illegible numbers. "Play refreshed" side with woman and fishing reel marked for display in summer and fall. 31 1/4"H x 57 1/2"W Condition: Frame in original finish. One corner with small missing piece. Edge wear, scuffs and scratches on both sides.

16 - Embossed SST Richardson Root Beer Sign Strong colors and gloss. 18"H x 36"W Condition: Very good overall with scattered edge wear, scratches and denting to the left edge. Light surface rust on back at one side.

17 - 2 RC Cola Cardboard Advertising Signs 1960s, one featuring "Susan Barrett, an exciting new recording and television star". Matching frames. 13 1/2"H x 31"W with frame Condition: Light wear and scuffing to each.

18 - 1948 Whistle Cardboard Soda Sign Framed sign with makers mark and date in lower right corner. 18 1/2"H x 13 1/2"W with frame Condition: Excellent.

20 - Late 1930s Mil-Kay Orange Soda Cardboard Sign Very nice die-cut cardboard sign, nicely framed. Sign features two happy children enjoying their drink. This brand was located in St. Louis, MO. 24"H x 34"W with frame Condition: Crease through top right corner. 1 pin hole bottom left. Scattered scuffing, edge wear.

21 - Cardboard Nesbitt's California Orange Kids Sign Late 1940s cardboard sign depicting twins with either twin boys or matching large dolls. Maker's mark lower left corner. 25 1/4"H x 36 1/4"W with frame Condition: Very good.

22 - 1952 SST Embossed PAL "Real Orangeade" Soda Sign More difficult to find version of the PAL sign featuring the brand name inside a heart. Sign marked "M-19" in lower left and "A-M 1-52" in lower right. 33 1/2"H x 10"W Condition: Strong colors and gloss. Scratch to the left of the bottle. Bend through the sign at the top of the bottle cap. Other bends. Loss and wear to litho along edge of sign. Surface rust on rear.

23 - Excellent Bireley's Self-Framed SST Soda Sign Large vertical embossed self-framed tin sign with strong colors and gloss. 54"H 18"W Condition: Several scuffs to the left of the bottle. Bends and denting scattered throughout. Scattered wear to litho along the edges. No rust.

24 - Bireley's 1960s Metal Soda Door Push "Young Thirsts Deserve The Best". Bright colors and great condition. Marked on reverse "B-66-7 Stout Sign Co., St Louis, MO Made in USA". 4"H x 30"W Condition: Scratch in the letter "E" in "Best". Scattered soiling and wear.

25 - Excellent B-1 Lemon-Lime Soda SST Embossed Sign Excellent colors and gloss, one of the nicer examples known. Marked on bottom "G 1146" and "P-11-LE". 33"H x 11"W Condition: Minor crimping along bottom edge. Light scattered wear along edge of sign.

27 - TEEM Lemon-Lime Embossed SST Soda Sign Excellent colors and day one gloss. 53 - Triple AAA Root Beer Embossed SST Sign Excellent color and gloss on this self-framed tin sign. The smaller of two versions known depicting the bottle. Marked Stout Sign Co, St. Louis, MO. 20"H x 27 1/2"W Condition: Scratch in lower left corner with accompanying bends to tin. Some loss to litho on top left corner. Scattered bends along edge and very minor wear to litho along edge.

54 - Vernors Bottle Cap Advertising Clock Designed and manufactured by Tommy Tucker Plastics, sign marked J-8043 MFG USA on bottom. Original label on back. Working condition. 11"D Condition: Wear to graphics, inpainting to the number "11", scratch starting at 1:30 continuing through the logo to the word deliciously. Bend to hour hand.

55 - Excellent SST Embossed "Drink Red Rock Cola" Sign Essentially NOS condition. Marked "Made in USA" and dated 4-38. "J.M.Stokes Co Inc Atlanta" marked on lower right corner. New frame. 33 1/4"H x 9 1/2"W with frame Condition: Day one gloss and colors. Scratches in lower right corner and minor scratches in lower left corner. Some black specking through logo done in the manufacturing process.

56 - 1927 Orange Julep Unused Calendar Rare surviving calendar from the Southern Fruit Julep Company. Stamped "Fred Koestering". Nicely housed in a contemporary frame. Unused calendar pad. 33 1/2"H x 19"W with frame Condition: Horizontal creasing through image. A tear on each side above the calendar pad with light touchup to each. Light fading to colors.

57 - Great Cardboard Bulldog Ginger Beer Strip Sign Pinned inside a shadowbox frame. NOS condition. Features a thirsty bulldog from the Atlas Brewing Company. 5"H x 20" W sign itself without frame Condition: Creases top left and bottom with a very minor tear on bottom left.

58 - Hershey Bros. 1947 Reinholds Advertising Calendar Great colorful bucolic scene of life on a farm in Reinholds, PA....note the Denver PA exchange with the phone number. Complete calendar pad. Marked at bottom "Copr 1936 by Hershey Chocolate Corp Litho in USA". 19"H x 14" W at top of pennant. Dimensions sign only Condition: Minor staining and edge wear top right edge and bottom point.

67 - Impressive Large Armour's Beef Litho Poster Sign One of the highlights of the auction is this impressively large, framed lithographed poster advertising Armour's Extract of Beef from Chicago, IL. Features a young boy dressed as a cowboy enjoying a can of beef. Excellent colors. 1920s-1930s. 61 1/2"H x 47 1/2"W with frame Condition: Blacklight reveals three separate areas of inpainting extending from the left edge to the blue background to the left of the word "Thats". Several tears along bottom extending from the bottom into the words "Extract of Beef" have been repaired and inpainted. One tear from right edge extending into the blue background next to the boy's elbow repaired and inpainted. The white top and bottom borders with inpainting.

68 - Hebrew National Hot Dogs Advertising PAM Clock Very good colors and clean glass. Original plug. Not currently working. Appears to be dated 1974 on reverse. 15 1/4" x 15 1/4" Condition: Sticker residue on glass in two places. Clock needs adjustment to work.

69 - Bost's Embossed Self-Framed SST Bread Sign Strong colors and graphics. 12"H x 30"W Condition: Minor dent along bottom edge and very light storage wear.

70 - Large Evangeline Maid Bread Embossed SST Sign NOS condition with bright colors and gloss. 24"H x 47"W Condition: Close inspection reveals very scattered wear to litho and some rice paper still attached to reverse.

71 - Stroehmann Sunbeam Bread Self-Framed Tin Sign Single-sided tin sign marked A-M Inc Lynchburg, VA 1-80 in lower right corner. 12"H x 30"W Condition: NOS with one scratch in lower right above maker's mark and scattered non-offensive scuffs and wear.

72 - Variation Sunbeam Batter Whipped Bread SST Sign Typically the placard says "Batter Whipped No Holes". This dated 1961 rare variation sign says "Stay Fresher Longer". Self-framed sign marked "983 E Printed in USA A-M 2-61" in lower right corner and "Copyright quality Bakers of America Cooperative Inc-1957" in lower left. 11 3/4"H x 29 5/8"W Condition: Very good color and gloss throughout. Scratch through the bottom of the silver display bread plate. Wear to litho along edge.

73 - Sunbeam Bread Self-Framed SST Embossed Sign Good colors, marked along lower right edge and dated 1965. 11 3/4"H x 29 3/4"W Condition: Staining, scratches and wear to sign.

74 - Sunbeam Bread "Slow Down Children Playing" Sign It appears the signs that are not self-framed, similar to this, were produced more recently even with the 1959 date in lower right corner. Very nice sign and nicely framed. 24 1/2"H x 28 1/2"W with frame Condition: Very good.

75 - 1962 Sunbeam Bread Self-Framed Embossed SST Sign Self-framed tin sign with bright colors and excellent gloss, essentially NOS. Dated 1962 with copyright and makers information along bottom edge. 19 1/2"H x 27 1/2"W Condition: Excellent with minor scratches along bottom edge. Remnants of rice paper on reverse.

76 - Large Sunbeam Enriched Bread Die-Cut SST Sign 1950s die-cut sign in the shape of a loaf of bread. Excellent size. 30"H x 57 1/2"W Condition: Crease in tin along top edge in red with accompanying touchup. Black light reveals other scattered touch up along red border and in one spot at bottom edge in dark area. Area of inpainting to white and grey area above and to the right of the loaf of bread.

77 - 1953 Sunbeam Bread Vertical SST Self-Framed Sign Vibrant colors and good gloss. Back is a gunmetal grey color. Marked "A.A.W. 10-53". 55"H x 19"W Condition: Scattered wear and scratches throughout with one pronounced scratch starting where the bread and the girl's mouth meet, continuing down to her wrist. Very fine dimpling to paint.

78 - Excellent Sunbeam Energy-Packed Bread SST Sign An original embossed horizontal tin sign with the back being a gunmetal grey color. Excellent day one gloss and color. NOS condition would be difficult to improve upon. 19"H x 55"W Condition: A scuff turning into a scratch ending above the letters "ked" in "packed". One spot in the green border the size of an eraser on top edge above the girl's head. A line of grease or dirt to the right of the "m" in "Sunbeam" in the red field. Some mottling to the gloss from the rice paper.

79 - 64" Sunbeam Bread Diamond-Shaped SST Sign Embossed tin sign marked Stout Sign Co. with additional information along lower left edge and dated 2-72. 64" Condition: Very good color, appears to have never been hung. Scratch starting above right eye, continuing through the slice of bread and into the red field. Scattered scuffs, scratches and wear, especially along the edge.

80 - Large 1984 Sunbeam Bread Horizontal SST Sign NOS self-framed sign marked Stout Sign Co and dated 5-84. Brilliant colors and graphics. 35"H x 70"W Condition: As-made condition with light wear to the red border.

87 - "Al's Night Hawk" Salisbury, NC Sunbeam Bread Sign Very large store sign, dated 1971, with "Al's Night Hawk" in the privilege panel across the top. Well known local establishment that operated for many years in Salisbury, NC and purchased by the consignor at auction in that state. Single-sided tin, self-framed sign with excellent colors and gloss. Marked "A-M Inc., Lynchburg, VA, 3-71" in lower right corner. 48"H x 59"W Condition: Very good. Close examination reveals scratches and scuffs predominantly in the yellow field, and light edge wear and soiling to the border.

88 - Sunbeam Bread Vertical Self-Framed SST Sign "Energy Packed Bread" variation featuring the iconic Sunbeam Bread logo. Marked and dated at base "A.A.W. 3-53". 54 1/2"H x 19"W Condition: Scratches to the left and right above the child's head. Denting along the edge with scattered paint loss.

89 - "Reach For Sunbeam" Bread Self-Framed SST Sign Vertical sign similar to the above lot but with "Bread At Its Best!" at the bottom. Natural tin back. Not marked. 54 1/2"H x 19"W Condition: Black spotting in the face and to the right of the girl's head. Scratch above the letter "R" in "Reach". Scattered scratches, scuffs, bending and wear.
