 IMPORTANT CAST IRON "TOMBSTONE" ROAD MARKER "ZANESVILLE LEXINGTON MAYSVILLE", "NASHVILLE FLORENCE" WITH CLOSED HAND WITH FINGERS POINTING DIRECTIONS. An online post indicated that these were "turnpike markers" and "cast in Joseph Bruen's Shop and Foundry, Spring Street, Lexington" for placement on the Maysville-Lexington Turnpike (now US 68). While Joseph Bruen was a successful foundry owner, I have not found definitive information that his shop actually created these wonderful early road markers). SELLS AT NOON!!!

Three ship models by Milton Verville in display cases; Carmeuse Lime hoist hit-and-miss engine; 54 “string” collection of bottles (“string” as the shapes are of musical “stringed” instruments: Violin, Banjo, Guitar); Little Red Wagon; Portable Autopsy Table (from Pruitt Funeral Home, Millersburg, KY); Mike Denham's personal chair from his stint as State Representative in the Kentucky House of Representatives (See Photos! TERMS OF PURCHASETHIS IS A FUND-RAISING EVENT to RAISE MONEY FOR THE KENTUCKY GATEWAY MUSEUM CENTER (for operating, acquisition, protection, maintenance, etc.). The PERSONAL PROPERTY will be offered at public auction and additional lots or consignments may be added to the auction event (all items listed at the current date, 6/8/2026 are items owned by the Kentucky Gateway Museum Center). BUYER'S PREMIUM –A buyer's premium of 10 (Ten) Percent will be added to the high bidder's final bid to determine the actual sales price (this IS NOT the agent's commission rate; the agent/auctioneer is donating his time/talent/energy to the Kentucky Gateway Museum Center). Auction to be conducted as a “live, in-person, on-site” event. No online bidding provided, although absentee bids are conditionally accepted. In the event that absentee bids are made, absentee bids shall be made on the absentee bidder's behalf in a competitive nature and not necessarily the absentee bidder's highest bid/offer. The KENTUCKY GATEWAY MUSEUM CENTER (the “AUCTION HOST”) may accept consignments worthy of inclusion within this auction event and shall be responsible for contracting with any additional consignors as well as providing for clerking/ collection/cashiering/submitting net proceeds payments to said consignors; the “agent" is donating his time/talent to conduct this Auction Event as the auctioneer only).Terms of purchase are Cash to Seller: NO CONTINGENCIES OF ANY KIND PERMITTED. Possession transfers to the purchaser upon sale. All sales subject to 6 percent KY Sales Tax UNLESS purchaser has a valid resale certificate.
