1b - Preview Information This is an on-site auction that has already been photographed and locked up. There is no on-site preview.
1c - Pickup by Scheduled Appointment Pickup is on June 15th from 11:55 AM to 5:55 PM. We lock the doors at 6:00 PM sharp. Be mindful of this when scheduling. We will send the winning bidders a text / email with instructions on how to select your personalized pickup time. The text will come from an 812 area code, not our phone number.
1d - Shipping Information This is an on-site auction which will require us to pickup and haul your items back to the shop for shipping. As such, the greater of, an additional $5 per lot or 5% of the high bid will be added for this service. We will not haul large items (eg appliances and furniture) nor heavy items (anything over 25 lbs). If you require those services send us an email prior to the auction ending and we will work with you to make arrangements. You will have the option to utilize our in-house shipping service. We ship the most economic way possible with an additional packing, handling and materials charge that starts at approximately $10 not including postage. For higher dollar value or targeted fraud items, adult signature, insurance and package tracking is required. We use Shipping Saint as our shipping software provider. No, you cannot send us a prepaid label. We ship everything insured. This is not because we are sloppy in our packing, rather we have no control over the package once it leaves on its journey to you.
1e - Terms & Conditions Overview 15.55% Buyer’s Premium in effect on all lots, with a minimum of $1 per lot being charged. There is no charge for paying with cash at pickup, but you must either request in the notes to the auctioneer section of registration or be previously authorized by the auctioneer that you are paying cash. When paying by credit or debit card there is a 3.45% processing charge. Sales Taxes are collected per the State of Illinois rules. In general this means no sales tax on coins, currency, bullion or posted estate items. Upon bidding you are entering into a contract to buy the lot bid on. Not paying for shipping does not release you from the auction invoice, those are two separate transactions. Unless prior arrangements are made, items not picked up during the scheduled pickup times or not paid for shipping are considered a donation with net proceeds going to the Monroe County Humane Society and the Morrison Talbott Library. Items are sold in AS-IS condition and the bidder acknowledged they have had ample time to attend a live preview. The bidder acknowledges the lot description, photos and estimates are informational only and an opinion not an expression of fact. The bidder agrees that by bidding they are satisfied with the condition of the lot and will make no attempts at returns or canceling the transaction. The bidder understands that by not paying their invoice they may receive negative feedback within the auction platform and this negative feedback may significantly adversely affect their ability to participate in future auctions both at this auction house and others within the auction platform. This is a summary of the terms and conditions.
