Buyer's Premium

Sales Tax

  • Virginia sales tax (5.3%) will be added to each invoice unless a valid tax exemption certificate is provided to Watts Auction Realty Appraisals Inc.

Accepted Virginia Tax Exemption Forms:

  • ST-10 – Resale
  • ST-17 – Forestry Equipment
  • ST-18 – Farm Equipment

Payment

  • Cash
  • Check
  • Credit/Debit Card (4% Convenience Fee)
  • Wire Transfer ($20 Wire Fee)

A valid credit/debit card is required to register. A $100 authorization hold will be placed on the card during registration and released following the conclusion of the auction and completion of pickup.

Removal of Items

  • All items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS with no warranties expressed or implied.
  • Buyers are encouraged to inspect all items during the scheduled preview.
  • Any item requiring disassembly or removal from a building or structure must be removed by a qualified individual without causing damage to the property.
  • Buyers are responsible for any damages caused during item removal.
  • Watts Auction Realty Appraisals Inc. does not provide loading, moving, or delivery services.

Pickup Policy

  • All items must be removed during the scheduled pickup time.
  • Items not picked up by the deadline will be considered abandoned without refund.
  • No alternate pickup dates will be available.
  • Buyers who fail to pay for purchases remain responsible for all collection costs and legal fees associated with debt recovery.

Additional Terms

  • All sales are final.
  • Auctioneer, Auction Company, and Seller make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of descriptions, measurements, photographs, or condition of any item.
  • Buyers should rely on their own inspection and judgment before bidding.
  • Auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject bids and determine bid increments.
