CHATTEL TERMS: 

1. Auction Type
   1. This is an online-only auction. All bidding will take place through the designated online auction platform.
2. Bidding Increments
   1. Below are the standard bidding increments. Please note: Straley Realty & Auctioneers, Inc reserves the right to adjust bidding increments at any time during the auction, including while the auction is live. Any changes will be reflected immediately on the auction platform.
      1. $1 increments for bids up to $10
      2. $2 increments for bids from $10.01 to $25
      3. $5 increments for bids from $25.01 to $100
      4. $10 increments for bids from $100.01 to $500
      5. $25 increments for bids from $500.01 to $1,000
      6. $100 increments for bids from $1,000.01 to $5,000
      7. $500 increments for bids from $5,000.01 to $10,000
      8. $1,000 increments for bids from $10,000.01 to $25,000
      9. $2,500 increments for bids from $25,000.01 to $50,000
      10. $5,000 increments for bids from $50,000.01 to $500,000
      11. $10,000 increments for bids from $500,000.01 to $1,000,000
3. Payment Terms
   1. Credit Card Only: Visa or Mastercard.
   2. The credit card used during registration will be automatically charged immediately upon the conclusion of the auction.
   3. 15% Buyer’s Premium will be added to each winning bid. This premium includes all credit card processing fees and is paid to the seller.
   4. If your credit card is declined, a $25.00 failed payment fee will be added and due immediately.
   5. Sales tax will NOT will be charged on the hammer price and buyer’s premium.
4. Credit Card Authorization Hold
   1. When registering to bid, a $25.00 authorization hold will be placed on your credit card to verify that it is valid.
   2. This is not a charge, and the hold will be automatically released by your bank within a few business days, depending on your financial institution.
5. Item Condition and Inspection
   1. All items have been inspected and are believed to be in the condition stated in the listing.
   2. However, all items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied.
   3. Buyers are responsible for performing their own due diligence and inspection prior to bidding.
6. Soft Close
   1. This auction features a soft close. If a bid is placed within the final minutes of the auction:
      1. An additional 45 seconds will be added to the timer to allow for additional bidding
      2. Bidding will continue to auto-extend in 45-second increments until no new bids are placed during the final 45 seconds.
      3. If no new bids are placed in the final 45-seconds the lot will close and sell to the highest bidder if the reserve has been met.
      4. This is done to ensure fair competition and gives everyone a chance to respond.
      5. Soft close is also known as auto-extend.
7. Staggered Closing
   1. This auction features a staggered closing format. Lots will begin to close at the time designated in the auction listing.
   2. Four lots will close at the same time.
   3. Soft close does apply. See above.
   4. There will be a 45 second stagger between each set of 4 lots to close.
   5. Example:
      1. Auction end time is 6:00 PM.
      2. Lots 1-4 will close at 6:00:00 PM.
      3. Forty-five seconds later (6:00:45) lots 5-8 will close.
      4. Forty-five seconds later (6:01:30) lots 9-12 will close.
      5. This will continue until all lots have sold.
      6. *** If there is bidding on a item within the last 45 seconds then auto-extend will take affect. See Section 6 above. ***
8. Pickup Terms
   1. Pickup times and location will be clearly stated in the auction listing.
   2. Buyers must arrive on time and be fully finished removing all items by the scheduled closing time.
   3. Bring your own boxes, packing materials, tools, and help for lifting and loading. Auction staff is available to supervise only, and will not assist with removal.
   4. If you fail to pick up your items during the stated timeframe:
      1. Your items will be considered abandoned and will be forfeited.
      2. A $100 disposal fee will be charged to your credit card on file.
9. Shipping
   1. Shipping is not included.
   2. Shipping and handling may be available on a case-by-case basis—you must contact the auctioneer in advance to discuss arrangements.
   3. If shipping is approved:
      1. A $5 per lot handling fee will be added.
      2. All shipping and handling fees must be paid in full prior to shipment.
   4. Buyers are responsible for packing their own items if picking up in person.
10. Failure to Comply
    1. Failure to comply with these terms, including failure to pay or pick up items, may result in bidding privileges being revoked for future auctions and any applicable fees being charged to your credit card.
11. Questions, Communication, and Contact
    1. For questions, special requests, or shipping inquiries, please contact the Auction Manager listed in the auction description.
    2. Bidders must maintain a valid email address and ensure communications from the auction platform and auctioneer are not blocked or filtered into spam folders.
    3. Failure to receive communications due to incorrect or inactive email accounts is the bidder’s responsibility.
