Biography from HowardGreenberg.com: Art Sinsabaugh is the teacher and photographer who fostered new interest in landscape as subject-matter through his wide format photographs of the American rural and urban landscape. Born in New Jersey in 1924, Sinsabaugh moved to the mid-West in 1949 to study and later teach at Chicago's legendary Institute of Design. Together with photographers such as Lázló Moholy-Nagy and Harry Callahan, Sinsabaugh experimented with photographic innovations within a visual framework that was influenced by design principles. He began photographing the mid-West landscape with a standard size camera in 1952, but developed his signature style almost a decade later whilst teaching at the University of Illinois. Sinsabaugh took pictures in Illinois and Indiana with a large format banquet camera that enabled him to work with twelve by twenty inch sheet film. The resulting images were detailed, ribbon-like panoramas that reveal more than the human eye can see. Sinsabaugh used the camera to explore the relationship between humanity and the land, combining wide horizons with telegraph poles, farm dwellings, trees, pylons, cityscapes, massive rivers and corduroy-like ploughed fields in one fell swoop.

Kamy Deljou Israeli, (20th/21st Century) abstract 2 lithographic prints Kamy Deljou was born in Shiraz, Iran in October of 1957. He began his formal artistic training through the Metier Guild and as an apprentice at the Dariush Academy of Shiraz. He received his MFA from Pahlavy University. During the 1979 Iranian Revolution, Deljou successfully fled to the United States where he established Graphique Du Jour Studios. Through a process of experimentation and trial and error, he developed innovative techniques that combined ink, acrylic and oils which resulted in the creation of visually arresting abstract images full of bold, elegant shapes and richly textured and patterned colors. In the process, Deljou was so successful at utilizing these techniques that he ended up patenting several of them. Over time, Deljou expanded his creativity and artistry in the mediums of sculpture, three-dimensional art, photography, and mixed media using photographic digital prints. He has exhibited worldwide and continues to attract special commissions. Kamy Deljou makes time in his busy schedule to teach aspiring artists from Georgia State University and the the Atlanta College of Art.
