This quality online sale contains a large assortment of books, art and maps assembled by a collector from Conover NC.
Books about CW History, North Carolina, Birds, Fine Art, Hunting, Children's-Dick & Jane, Lighthouses, US History and many other topics are offered in the sale.
Art includes Victorian era chromolithographs, watercolors, prints about birds, animals, religious, history and other topics, many have quality framing.
Maps include 17th C. Germany maps. 1855 & 1857 hand colored J.W. Colton's Europe, United States, South America maps. Most are unframed.
The auction also contains antiques such as southern 1 drawer work table, grain painted hanging cupboard, cherry full size bed, Mid Century side table. Hand woven room size oriental rug, assorted early ceramics, glassware, folk art sculpture, primitives, paper collectibles to include postcards, Railroad memorabilia, early book plates, photographs and more. Sterling jewelry, collectors knives and coins, advertising smalls, metalwork, toys, perfume bottles, tools and much more.
A few highlights are: early 1900's hand made child's dollhouse, patriotic painted drum case, hand made wooden boat model, 1950's remote controlled tin Japan Taxi cars, early iron, folk art hand made wooden trolly car, horn art lamp and African American North Carolina mechanical Whirl li gig.
