Alan Y Jones first attended auction school in 1967 while a junior in high school. While in college at Texas A&M University, he worked with Johnny Watkins, conducting over 300 auctions. After running a family distribution business for 25 years, he returned to auction school at Reppert's in Auburn, IN in 1999. He began real estate auction that year. He owned and operated a wholesale dealers auto auction from 2003 through 2009. He is currently Regional Vice President/Broker of National Commercial Auctioneers LLC and National Residential Auctioneers LLC., specializing in commercial real state, land, and other hard to value assets. In addition to his auctioneer license, he holds a Texas Real Estate Broker License. He has conducted over 2,000 auctions in his career.
