Barron Auctioneers are a Third-generation family beginning in 1943 with B. G. Coats, First President of the National Auctioneers Association in 1949. In 1981 a merger with William E. Barron became Coats and Barron, Inc. William D. Barron is now CEO of Wm. Barron Galleries, Inc. The business has been based in Monmoth County, New Jersey since 1943. William D. Barron graduated from Mendenhall Auction College in 1993.
