Mr. Lowry is a second-generation auctioneer. He began his career over 18 years ago working with his father on numerous auctions of both soft and hard assets from a number of different industries. His professional portfolio reflects appraisals and liquidations spanning a wide variety of industries and property types. He has successfully managed appraisals and auctions in high-tech, aviation, machinery and equipment, retail, health care, manufacturing, marine, and construction as well as commercial, industrial and private real estate.
As a leader in the auction industry, Mr. Lowry is responsible for marketing and selling all types of commercial and residential real estate, industrial assets as well as intellectual properties in the mid Atlantic region. He has performed in excess of 300 personal property and tax appraisals in over 15 states and has ultimately sold or appraised hundreds of millions of dollars in business and industrial assets during his career.
In addition, Mr. Lowry specializes in sales of commercial and industrial real estate and business assets for secured creditors and trustees. He has served as a consultant and expert for businesses and the US Bankruptcy Court , serving secured creditors, banks, trustees and attorneys.
Mr. Lowry is an active member of many professional organizations and is a Licensed Maryland real estate salesperson. He holds credentials with the auction industry's most renowned organizations and pursues continuing education opportunities to further enhance his knowledge base. In addition, Mr. Lowry holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
