Travis Lamar Jarvis went to the Georgia Institute of Technology on a full academic scholarship. He has an Associate of Arts Degree in Legal Systems as well as a Bachelor of Science in Professional Development. Jarvis took his first real estate course in 1975 and got a real estate license in Texas in 1985 and in Georgia in 1990.

From 1990 to 1994 Jarvis worked as a Contract Specialist with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)/Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) and was responsible for putting auction contracts in place through which was sold 300 to 500 properties (houses, land and commercial) PER WEEK for over 3 years. Additionally, the Chairman of the FCC sought a Contacts Expert with both Federal as well as private background in Auctions to advise and assist with the auctioning of the bandwidth for Personal Communication and Jarvis was selected and loaned to the FCC by the RTC as an advisor – assisting in the first successful auctions of the FCC. After the RTC was disbanded, Jarvis has been full time in the real estate business in various capacities.

For over 9 years, Jarvis sold real estate, and was a Manager and one-on-one Trainer for one of the largest independently owned, non-franchise real estate companies in Georgia. He was Assistant Managing Broker and Recruiter for Virtual Properties Realty. Additionally, Jarvis was the point of contact to answer commercial real estate questions for Virtual Properties Realty agents and was a Land Manager for Georgia Land Solutions (GLCS) Division of Virtual Properties Realty.

Currently, Lamar Jarvis was Qualifying Broker for Platter Realty, LLC / REBIDNOW.com (Auctions), as well as Assistant Managing Broker/Associate Broker with Virtual Properties Realty.
