In the fall of 2011, professional auctioneer Phil Riner entered his 34th year as an Estate and Business Auctioneer, Liquidator, and Personal Property Appraiser also selling real estate via auction and conventional listings. Because of his love of singing, his auction chant was easily developed and he was chosen to appear on TV as part of a special news report on auctions while in auction school honing his craft. Considered a "Seller's Auctioneer", his reputation is well known for being exceptionally diligent in producing the highest returns possible for his clients. A Christian businessman active in his church, his reputation for integrity and fairness is equally well known. Riner's auctions included the estates of Richard Caward, private chef for 20 years to billionaire Malcom Forbes; 1930-40's actress and stage performer Dorothy DeClue Wylie; Piper Aircraft writer, advisor, & technician Maurice Taylor, estate of multi-millionaire advertising executive and philanthropist John Miller and wife Ellie, as well as liquidations of restaurants, welding & machine shops, antique stores, retail and manufacturing business entities, and livestock. Local and statewide auctions too numerous to recount have generated thousands of satisfied clients. Phil is frequently invited as guest auctioneer for charity and civic fund-raiser events, and as guest speaker for a variety of occasions. His love of teaching resulted in a "Seminar At Sea" during a cruise in which Phil taught concerning Auctions and the Resale Market. From that seminar came four auctioneers, and a collectibles store was opened by another seminar participant. When Phil Riner personally discovered a handwritten George Washington letter in an estate in Lakeland,Florida, he received world-wide media attention for the auction and grossed 8 times the highest offer previously tendered for the estate. An estate in Lake Wales, Florida, produced a pleasant surprise for estate trust officers when Phil sold the home for $50,000 more than the appraised value. April of 2012 marked Phil and Debbie's 30th wedding anniversary. They have three sons, Chase, Colby, and Carson. All are participants in the family owned auction business. Phil also was appointed a Distributor of Free Prescription Discount Cards through Community Assistance Program, a service he takes great joy in.
