Item Description

This piece was painted by George Pocheptsov when he was 9 years old. The little boy was adopted from one of the fallen Soviet states and had a hard time learning the English language. His new parents saw that he a knack for painting and that he could use this as an expression of his feelings as he learned his new language. "Georgy" has been referred to as a young Picasso in the making. This piece was sold to benfit the Ronald McDonald House Children's Charities in Upstate South Carolina. The piece was sold by Hope Meares of the Meares Auction Group.
