C.1875, Austrian, Anton Vogel, "Jahr-Uhr", weight driven year duration wall clock in a walnut case. Condition: excellent condition, the light walnut case professionally cleaned & waxed in Vienna around 1980. This clock has many of the features that a Vienna collector looks for: grid pendulum, black dial with gold numerals, original maker's name on dial, fancy saddle pulley {for the two weights}, delicate hands {silvered for contrast with the gold and black}, original finials, moldings and case stabilizers {with lock rings}. Weights are replacements {total weight 10kg, 22lb}. This quality 6-wheel movement is original to the case, & was professionally cleaned around 10 years ago and the timepiece has been running on Mather's parlor wall ever since.
