LATE ADDITION: "The Day The Earth Stood Still" 1951 poster for the RKO Theatre in Boston. The RKO Theater was located in the theatre dustrict in Boston on Washington Street and feature film. big band concerts and a veriety of theatre perfomances. The theatre operated from from the 1930's to the 1950's.

The poster is one sheet mounted on plywood, which was a piece of wall discovered in a cellar in Hingham, Massachusetts. The homeowner lived in the home for over 47 years and it was there when she moved in. The poster has been glue to the plywood and was on display at the RKO Theatre in 1951. It has pin holes and some loss.
