Sweetheart jewelry: USN locket, 1/20kt on sterling with mother of pearl and USN logo in center, with chain. USN gold tone locket. Hand carved “South Pacific 1944 Florence” plastic heart pendant. USN stretch bracelet with gold tone and mother of pearl center, heart shaped locket with USN logo. 5 hand painted shells with “Philippines 1945” and scenes of the Philippine Islands. 3 bolo knives from the Philippines: 16 1/2” overall with wood grip and carved wood sheath, 14” overall with wood sheath decorated with mother of pearl buttons, 11 1/2” overall in wood sheath. Woven hats from the Philippines: two 18” diameter, three 6” diameter – one with woven link chin strap. 6 large, 20” X 16”, Kodak glass negatives forming an advertisement for Sea Island Sugar with Marines above a banner reading; “Your grocer invites you to hear “I Was There” and to save a soldier's life CBS Stations – Sundays 9PM”, next to a bag of Sea Island Sugar (Columbia Pacific Network – real life experience program) circa 1944, the negatives were used to make a poster for grocery stores.

Consignor's mother went to St. Alexis School of Nursing in 1939 and then became a Navy nurse on board a hospital ship in the Pacific during WWII (Iowa Jima and others): school of nursing uniform with patch on pocket. 3 white 1940's nurse's uniforms. 2 scrub outfits. Nurse's starched cap. “Doctors Aweigh” book by Rear Admiral Charles M. Oman, copyright 1943, hard cover with dust jacket.
