Late 19th Century; Original, Overall open measurements including wooden mounting strips 19” height, 24.75” width, extremely rare and important with original wooden connectors, titled Map of Louisiana Alabama and Mississippi by P. Lorillard and Cos. Map. Lower right is also titled Red Cross Tin Tag Yacht Club Dog Trail and other Brands of Smoking Tobacco. Map is also surrounded by Lorillard’s most popular brands including Century Rose Leaf, Climax Plug, Mechanics, Sailors, Bullion Plug, Maccoboy. Center top of map proudly displays The Cut Tobacco Building, Box Factory and Plug Tobacco Factory. Lower left of map is marked Pfeil and Golz Camden N.J. Lower right is also marked Patn’d Sep. 6th 1881. After close examination, map appears to be completely all original and unaltered. Brilliant Colors throughout, minor scratches, minor edge loss otherwise excellent condition. We highly recommend this new discovery to all map collectors and tobacco collectors. Please view photos.
