Conditions of Sale
This auction is Live in person at our location as well as online.
Bidders must be registered.
No bidder may retract a bid that has been submitted online.
Each bidder is responsible for all bids transmitted from such Registered Bidder's computer or from such Registered Bidder's account for the Online Auction Platform. If a winning bid is sent from the computer of a Registered Bidder, or from a Registered Bidder's account for the Online Auction Platform, such Registered Bidder will be the Buyer, unless the same bid has been taken by the auctioneer from the floor. Floor bids trump internet bids. Firearms will only be shipped to the address of a current Federal Firearms LIcense (FFL) holder. We do not ship firearms to California.
Payment
NOTICE - EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY...Freeman Yoder Auctions will NOT accept payment by credit card over the telephone for lots purchased containing coins, precious metals or jewelry from new to us customers. We will accept personal and business checks, cashier's checks or money wires. If bidder is paying by check or wire, we reserve the right to hold all purchases until the check has cleared the bank.
For other purchases, we only accept credit cards with US or Canadian billing addresses. If items are paid by a credit card, the items can only be shipped to the billing address of the card. If paying by wire or check, the package can be shipped anywhere.
There is a 4% credit card processing fee when using a card to pay over the telephone.
We will generally issue an initial invoice on the next business day after an auction to winner email address provided during registration. High volume auctions may delay the initial invoice. Restricted payment items (ie...firearms, ammunition, knives, etc...) will require payment processing via telephone as our online processor restricts such items. While we try to include shipping charges with the initial invoice this is not always possible. If items require specialty packaging, such as firearms or have extra large dimensions a second invoice will be issued to cover the shipping rate and associated costs (ie. boxes/time/material). All Lots and shipping must be paid for in-full within five (5) days business days after receipt of the specific invoice. Purchases must be paid by credit card or approved check; provided, however, that purchases in excess of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) must be paid by wire transfer or certified funds unless other arrangements are made with Auctioneer in Auctioneer's sole and absolute discretion.
Winning Bidder credit cards on file may be charged four (5) days after an invoice has been sent to the Winning Bidder.
Buyer Premium
20% on all items.
Shipping Terms
Shipping is available in house. We start with a base fee of $10.00 per shipment (not lot), add on cost of boxes and packing material then we get a quote from either USPS or UPS for best way shipping with appropriate insurance. For example, a rifle...$10.00 + $8.00 (box) + $4.00 (packing) + $37.50 (UPS ground w/insurance) = $59.50. Charges will vary depending upon location, weight, size, insurance, etc... It may take us a little time to issue a shipping invoice depending upon demand. If items are oversize and/or weigh more than 70 lbs, freight services will be required. We do not handle freight, but will work with a customers chosen service (ie. UShip)
Firearms shipments are to individuals/businesses that possess a Federal Firearms License only. It is possible that some firearms will not require shipment to an FFL holder. This decision will be made by the auctioneer.
