third quarter 19th century, signed "C. Lee", for the Manchester, New Hampshire, shop of Charles Lee, the cyma-molded tester supported by tapering fluted posts joined to a paneled headboard with a shell-, cabochon- and fruit-carved crest, the scalloped rails with a central carved cartouche.

**In overall good condition. Scattered nicks, dings, and small veneer losses along the top edge of the rails. The canopy is a professional cabinet shop replacement. Some crazing to the finish from age but retains a good overall patina. The posts and rails tighten up firmly when assembled. Minor rubs to the posts and rails.
