Absentee Bids:
Absentee bids can be placed with Auction Zip or directly with Old Stuff For You. Absentee bids can be placed via e-mail or phone. Registration placed directly with Old Stuff For You must be placed at least 24 hours before the auction. To bid via email send to [email protected]. To place a bid by phone call 773-971-4270.
Returns: All returns must be requested within 7 days of receipt of goods and must be approved by Old stuff for You.
Payment is due within 48 hours upon receipt of invoice. All pricing details upon the close of auction will be sent to you via Invaluable e-mail. This invoice will be directly e-mailed to your address on file with Invaluable / AuctionZip.
Sales Tax in Illinois
When an item is shipped from and to Illinois we must charge a 6.25% sales tax added to the hammer price.
Sales
We guarantee the stated metal purity of jewelry or precious metals. All lots are sold as is.
Lots may have a minimum selling prices or a reserve price. This confidential figure is set by consignor and we will implement all reserve bids. The record of sale kept by the auction house is final in any dispute. All sales are recorded and will be used for confirmation.
The buyer owns the property as soon as the "hammer strikes the podium"". The auction house may choose to resell items if terms, shipping or pick up are not met. Payments Include Wire Transfer, PayPal, and All Major Credit Cards.
At the auctioneer's sole discretion, he has the right to refuse any bid, to advance the bidding in such a way as he or she may decide to withdraw any lot, and in the case of a dispute or error, and whether during or after the sale, to determine the successful bidder, to continue the bidding, to cancel the sale or to re-offer and resell the item in dispute. Our sale record is conclusive if a dispute arises after the sale. We reserve the right to withdraw any property before and during the sale, as well as reserve the right to group one or more lots into one or more selling lots, or to subdivide into two or more selling lots. We shall have no liability whatsoever for such withdrawal, addition or amendment.
Payments
No items will be shipped to any bidder for any particular auction until all charges for the auction have been paid in full and all funds have cleared. Payments Include Wire Transfer, PayPal, and All Major Credit Cards. The buyer will incur a 20% restocking fee if the goods are rejected by the buyer due to reasons other than errors on our part. A 35.00 fee will be charged for all checks returned. In the event a item is delivered broken or has been lost during shipping,Old Stuff for You will reserve the right to replace such item with a comparable item of equal or greater value. If a suitable item is not available a refund or exchange will be considered.

Shipping
Professional shipping services are conducted in-house. Most items ship within 15 working days post auction but occasionally due to circumstances beyond our control shipping will be delayed. Bulk shipping is used when applicable. We also ship internationally.
Arrangements can be made for local will-call items. Payment is required after 48 hours of receipt of the invoice. If the invoice is not paid within 4 days of receipt of invoice your card on file will be automatically debited..in the event that our shipping estimate was lower than anticipated, you will be notified and a invoice will be sent to you. Local pickup can be arranged for larger items.Free shipping is available for most won after a minimum of 100.00 hammer price has been reached.. the offer only includes the continental USA and Hawaii. Larger items of items that require extensive shipping preparation are generally not included.
