A fabulous carnelian intaglio that has been incised on top to display the left-facing image of a horseman bedecked in armor. The equestrian individual grasps the reins of his steed with his right hand while pointing the tip of his lengthy spear downwards; the horse is also laden with armor to protect it on the field of battle. The intaglio is set within the swiveling bezel of a delicate 56.6% gold ring designed to be worn and displayed with pride!     Condition:
  • Wearable as shown and constructed in modern times. Carnelian intaglio is ancient; ring setting is modern. Minor abrasions to intaglio, otherwise intact and excellent. Great luster on ring setting, and nice preservation to finer details of intaglio.
