Fifth Printing of Complete Poems of Robert Frost 1949, Henry Holt and Company, New York. 666 pp. 8vo. Inscribed on the free front endpaper: “To the Hyatts, with thanks for their good wishes to Robert Frost, Bread Loaf, Ripton Vt. August 17, 1955.” Most of Frost’s most famous poems are included in this volume, including “The Road Not Taken,” “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” and “Mending Wall.” Among the numerous honors Frost received are four Pulitzer Prizes, the Mark Twain Medal and a gold medal from the National Institute of Arts and Letters. Lacking the dust jacket; spine faded and light wear to the cover. Internally fine with the owner’s name and address written on the front paste-down.
