Beautifully mounted polished fossil ammonite (Cleoniceras) Fossil. The ammonites became extinct at the end of the Cretaceous Period, at roughly the same time as the dinosaurs disappeared. Nice addition to any natural science or fossil collection or interisting home decoration. Fine example of contemporary art mounted on a terraced limestone base garnished with pink aragonite.
