A late 19th century Paillard Vaucher Fils (PVF) (Geneva, Switzerland) Swiss three cylinder music box on matching on table stand constructed of burl walnut veneer with tulipwood crossbanding and boxwood border surrounded by ebonized lacquer finish. The top is book matched burl walnut. The table has cut out opening. Table has pull out front drawer with built-in cylinder tray for three cylinders. Each cylinder is constructed from nickel plated bronze and each plays 6 airs or tunes. The base of the music box is stamped Paillard Feb 11th,1879 and Model E-52870.

  • Good condition with losses to burl in spots. Losses to ebony lacquer throughout. Mechanically sound with no damage to mechanical parts and rich deep sound that is only slightly out of tune. All parts included.
