Possibly Turkish or Moroccan in origin, with an engraved beveled top round barrel, 55 ga., extensive silver leafy vine pattern inlays to the walnut stock, lock and hammer adorned with engraved geometric and crescent moon shaped gilt motif, the lock with a double groove, (missing pan cover) an engraved hammer and frizzen, brass barrel band, original wooden ramrod, silver wire vine and leaf inlay around the lock and on the butt and a bone butt plate. 16 1/4" barrel, 28 1/2" overall. Repaired stock, light corrosion, lacking through bolt barrel tang to trigger guard. For display only.
