Napoleon III Neo-Grec Bronze Gasolier

third quarter 19th century, the nine-light gasolier with a fluted column-form standard supporting three arms decorated with pierced scrolls and molded with leaves, each set with three gas arms with molded candle sockets and drip pans and set with Greek-key-patterned gas keys, on rod-form reeded "chains", supported on a Greek-key-decorated canopy and mounted with shades.

  • **In "as found" condition. No sign of damage. Now electrified with the wiring running through the gas tubes. The outside of the fixture has three clusters of three lights. There is an additional central light under the glass dome shade. The prisms are not original and there are no small holes drilled along the metal rim for prisms. They are rather held by loops of wire.
