M1902 US army named officer sword, 1900’s M1902 US Army Officer Sword. Single edged bright blade with fuller. Triple acid etched with light grey background. "Arthur A. Delperdano" on one side, "US" and floral patterns on the reverse and on the spine. Maker marked by N.S. Meyer and Carl Eickhorn on the ricasso. Leather buffer pad present. Steel hilt and composite grip. Four branch "D" guard. Steel scabbard. Provenance: New old stock acquired by the consignor from the N.S. Meyer New York facility at the time the New York operation was shuttered. The consignor was a long-time executive with N.S. Meyer. Blade Length: 28" | Total Length: 33 1/2" Condition: Very good.
