This pair of large oval oils on canvas paintings feature portrait entitled 'Broken Pitcher' after Jean-Baptiste Greuze (French 1725-1805), annotated on stretcher 'L. Nicolas 229 Faubg St. Honore'' (Paris), and 'The Milkmaid', also after Jean-Baptiste Greuze, this one unsigned. Both approx 47.5"H x 39.25"W OD. This is a de-accession from the Women's Club of York, Pennsylvania.
